·         Absentee Ballots & Voter Registration for all Elections and Referenda

You may become a voter at any time throughout the year if you are a citizen, and at least 18 years of age.

·         Boards and Commissions’ Agendas/ Minutes

·         Change of Name Certificates

·         Civil Union Licenses

·         Copies of: Birth and Death Certificates

·         Deeds and Maps (Survey/Subdivision)

·         Dog Licenses

To license your Dog:

 Licenses required for all dogs six months of age or over.

 Rabies inoculation certificate is required.

 State-imposed $60.00 penalty for unlicensed dogs.

 License fees: $8.00 spayed/neutered dogs- $19.00 male or female dogs

·         Freedom of Information Act

·         Hunting and Fishing Licenses/Guides: Duck Stamps, Marine Fishing Applications, State/Private Hunting Applications

All licenses expire December 31st. Competence certificates are required for Firearms, Hunting, Archery and trapping licenses. Junior licenses must be purchased for hunters and trappers age 12-15. Fishing licenses are required for anyone 16 years of age or older. Free lifetime licenses if age 65 or over.

·         Justice of the Peace (Marriages)

·         Land Records, deeds, releases, recording information and transaction research

·         Liquor Permits, Filing of

·         Marriage Licenses (Parental permission required if under 18 years of age)

·         Notary Public Applications/Filing/Certifying

Applications available in Town Clerk's Office, submitted to Secretary of State. Certificate filed with Town Clerk.

·         Permits and License Information

·         Probate Court Certificates

·         Special Acts and Ordinances

·         Trade Name Certificates

·         Veteran Discharge Papers (DD214

Form DD-214 must be recorded in town of residence, before October 1st, one time only
